AirAide Review

Well I have been using this herbal supplement for a few weeks to help with my cardio and ultimately my fighting. I have found that it really helps a little. It has help me keep focus during my training because of optimum oxygen levels. When your body has optimum oxygen levels your muscles work better and your focus is def. increase.

Here is a little information on the supplement. Well it is 100% vegetarian which is nice. The pills however do taste rather bad but that’s beside the point. I did some research in all the plants and some of them have small amounts of epinephrine ( adrenaline) much like the Epi. pens. This amount of adrenaline is much too small to do any damage and our body will benefit from it. If you are allergic to any plants you might want to check before you use.

Here is how it works: By what I know this product works by naturally dilating the Bronchi inside the lungs. I might be wrong but from the ingredients that is what I believe.

Originally this product was made for people with asthma to help them when they do physical activity but it is safe for anyone to use it. I recommend any athlete to use it. It will give him a slight edge on the competition which is what any true athlete wants.

Fish oil.

Fish oil supplements are great for athletes or people that have joint problems. They help lubricate the joints and keep inflammation down. They should be taken daily if you live a active life. It will help with every joint in your body.

It is also good for the heart because it contains good fats.  Unlike other fats they help keep the good cholesterol up and the bad one down.

It also helps with memory recall and proper brain function. This could help keep depression away and other unwanted conditions.

If you don’t like taking pills: Instead of using vegetable oil to cook I suggest to use some time of fish oil. You can usually find salmon oil in any grocery store.

Few tips for using Creatine Monohydrate

Well for those of you who do not know what Creatine Monohydrate I’ll give you a quick overview. It is a very popular muscle building supplement. It is in a lot of the foods you eat and your body produces Creatine on its own. This supplement helps some with recuperating which in terms help building muscle faster. Creatine is safe to take in most situations and doesn’t really have many side effects. As with many things Creatine is essentially a steroid (no not the bad kind).

Creatine should only be taken during the off season for most athletes for the fact that it will dehydrate you and in most cases that is bad and can cause serious problems. I have known of wrestlers (due to the nature of our sport) that have used it during the season and ended up in the hospital and I think two have died but I am not sure. The reason was because of a bad diet, extreme dehydration to make weight, and physical exhaustion. Those are not common things that everyone goes through.

I have personally used it and have been completely healthy and never had a problem. Here are some of the things I did to have the best results:

- Eat a healthy, balance, diet that is high in protein and low on bad fats

-Drink a gallon or more of water every day

-Get plenty of sleep

-Lift/ train properly

-STAY AWAY FROM ALCOHOL!!!!!

That’s pretty much it. It’s a safe supplement that you can benefit from as long as you use it correctly.

I hope this helps to give you a little more knowledge about it and consult your physician before starting to use it. For any questions leave a comment or e-mail me at maxQandA@gmail.com

How to stay away from ringworm?

Ringworm is a fungus infection that affects the outer layer of the skin.  It shows up as a red circle on fair skin people and a purplish ring on darker skin people. It is highly contagious and can be spread through touch or through infected clothes. The way that you get ringworm is by poor hygiene or direct contact with the infected area on someone else.  It is very common in contact sports and outdoor sports.  In wrestling and MMA it is very normal.

Ways to keep it away from you:

-If you are a wrestler or MMA fighter: you must clean the mats with special mat disinfectant before using them. You must not wear normal shoes on the mat if you are going to wear shoes at all.

- For everyone: Never wear the same clothes two days in a row unless properly wash. Disinfect all your equipment/ gear each night. After your training session, immediately take a shower. DO NOT SIT DOWN! DO NOT WAIT! The longer you wait the most likely you will get it and the most likely you will get it on someone else. Use anti-bacterial soap and a wash cloth or loofah to scrub down. Keep your immune system strong by taking a good multivitamin so that you can fight off most if not all diseases.

If you do get it: cover it up and go get a special cream that kills in in a few days. Do not let it get worse because it will spread and get bigger and nasty.

What does it mean when you have soft tissue?

Well this question was asked to me by my training partner in a middle of a session. It kinda alarmed me because it is a pretty serious injury for a fighter and it can be medically very serious. Soft tissue is the condition in which there’s a collection of blood in between the cranial bones and the skin. It is very painful and there could be a chance that it might bleed into the brain if continuously pounded. It is soft to the touch and mushy. Usually you take time off from whatever sport you are doing so that it can get better. I needless to say told him to go home and don’t come back till he had been clear by a doctor. If you think you might have it, GO TO THE DOCTOR!

How do you get healthy mass?

Well this question is hard to answer. It takes a combination of good nutrition, good training routine, plenty of rest and a lot of other things.
My first recommendation is that for anyone, no matter what your goal is, to get a good healthy diet going. Weather you goal is to gain or loose weight, I recommend to eat 6 times a day if not more.

Since the question is about gaining healthy weight/mass I will be targeting that. In case you didn’t know your nutrition is really more important to you getting bigger than anything else. I have seen plenty of guys work out really hard and not really get any bigger because they do not fuel their body the way that they need to.

Here is a Few tips:

1. Replace vegetable oil with olive oil or salmon oil. They are good fats and will help you.

2. Chicken breast and tuna are a great source of natural protein with low fat and carbs.

3. Eat every three hours. Make sure every “meal” has at least 15 grams of protein if not more.

4. If it has more fat then protein, don’t eat it.

5. Get plenty of rest

6.Train Hard. Do not lift for more then 45 min that way your testosterone level peaks and your metabolism is fired up.

7. If you are going to use a protein supplement. Choose a good quality shake. Pure Protein and EAS are pretty good. STAY AWAY FROM BODY FORTRESS.

8.Get plenty of sleep. Your muscles will appreciate it and they will get bigger.

9.Stretch a lot.

For people that don’t like to think much I personally use the empowered nutrition diet. It tells you when to eat, how much to eat, how to make it, and everything you need to know. I would recommend it to anyone they have a lot of different diets.

When should you eat?

There are two best times during the day to eat. During this time your body will take the most out of it and use almost all the nutrients from it. This times are as soon as you wake up (breakfast) and withing 30 min of a hard workout.

Did your mom ever tell you that breakfast is the most important meal of the day? Well she was 100% correct. Because you have been asleep for so long your body goes into recover/rebuilding mode. While your body is in this state your metabolism slows every hour so that the body can focus the energy into rebuilding itself instead of processing food. When you wake up you want to fire up your metabolism so that you get energy in your system, you start burning calories, and you metabolism functions as it should.

Eating after a hard workout is the perfect time to eat because a hard workout should have rocket fired your metabolism. It is working harder and faster and it will take advantage of whatever you put in your body. All the chemical reactions in your body will be benefited and you will reach your goals faster and better.

Make sure that when you eat you eat protein because protein is the hardest substance for the body to break down. Therefor your body needs to heat up and work harder. This leads to burning more calories and usually the decreasing of BF%.

I hope this helps whoever reads it. For more questions leave a comment or e-mail me at maxQandA@gmail.com

How much should you stretch?

First of all let me apologize for not posting before this but I had a really challenging week.

Anyways the answer to this question is really simple. You can never stretch enough. There is no limit really. I tell everyone to stretch as much as possible. Now I do recommend to stretch at least 5-10 min everyday after a workout preferably.

Also I suggest to dedicate at least one day out of the week to recover and just stretch with no workout. Now remember to warm your body up first you should not stretch cold muscles. I stretch 1-1 1/5 hours every Wednesday. Yes it is not very confi but it does the trick.

Now you must remember that there are two types of stretches; Dynamic and Static. Static is when you hold a position for a certain amount of time and should be done after a workout and dynamic is moving stretches that should be done before a workout.

Stretching is just as important if not more then your training for you dont get bigger or better when you work out you get bigger and better wehen you rest plus it will help you keep injury and soreness away.

I hope this helps and for more questions leave a comment or e-mail me at maxQandA@gmail.com

Why crash diets are horrible for your health?

Ok so besides the fact that you are starving yourself and you are weak I’mma let you know what happens to your body.

So first the reason people loose weight (in most cases) is because the body is so deprived of essential foods and the all mighty calories that it starts to break down muscle to use it for food. Yes that is right your body is eating itself as a survival mechanism.

If you have a lot of fat you might loose some of it ( you’ll be flabby tho) I can promise you that you will put it back on as soon as you start eating normal. The reason is simple because your metabolism has slowed down so much (since you weren’t eating) that you store every little thing into your fat cells.

Also I have witness other side effects that come with it. I have personally seen fellow wrestlers pass out, have abnormal pulse, and be on the verge of a heart attack because of such extreme crash dieting.

Now I can not pretend like I haven’t done it. Yes I have when I was stupid and lazy. It made me loose fights. If you crash diet you are setting yourself up to fail.

I hope this helps and for any questions just leave a comment or e-mail me at maxQandA@gmail.com

Can You Do HIIT While Bulking up?

Yeah of course you can and it is very beneficial. It will lower your body fat and reduce the lactic acid build up. Also sprinting helps release growth hormones. So HIIT is great for you.

I suggest to do it 2 times a week after a bodybuilding workout session. HIIT should not take you long at all. Make sure that before you do it tho that your body is warm and that you are hydrated and breathing properly. Always push yourself for that’s when you will get results fast.

Get plenty of rest for HIIT training will suck the energy out of you. Its better to get a partner and race each other. It makes it fun.

Well I hope this helps and for more questions leave a comment or e-mail me at maxQandA@gmail.com
